Poole Christian Fellowship is an independent evangelical church. We started in 1989 with a handful of Christians meeting together in a living room, and the church today is led by a team of three elders, one of whom, John MacDiarmid, serves the church full-time as its Minister
We have our own building in Lagland Street, Poole, which we use for most of our activities, but in September 2015 we began to hold our Sunday morning meetings at Poole High School, to give us room to grow. We have a strong emphasis in all we do on the authority of the Bible as the inspired, infallible and authoritative word of God, along with a strong desire to allow the Spirit of God to do all that he wishes amongst us. You can read our full statement of beliefs on the beliefs page.
You can read our full history on the history page.
We are committed to the establishment of new testament local church life amongst us as we seek to know Jesus and to make him known.
Poole Christian Fellowship is affiliated to the Evangelical Alliance and FIEC (the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches) and is a registered charity, (CIO) overseen by a team of trustees.
